PaydMetrics
About

Payments data should agree with itself

We build PaydMetrics for the finance and growth teams who collect money in more than one place, and who are tired of three exports disagreeing about a single number.

01Why we exist

It started as a spreadsheet argument

Adding a second payment gateway is a good problem — a new market, a better rate, an enterprise customer who insists. What nobody mentions is what it does to your reporting. Two dashboards that define churn differently. A customer who moved from PayPal to Stripe and now counts twice. Currency converted at whichever rate the export happened to use that day.

So the month-end ritual begins: pull the CSVs, paste them into a sheet, patch the duplicates by hand, and present a number nobody can quite reproduce. We watched finance teams spend three days on this and still end up in a meeting arguing about whose MRR was right.

PaydMetrics does that reconciliation continuously instead. We read the raw transaction data from every gateway you run, normalise the currencies at the transaction-date rate, merge the duplicate customers, net out the refunds and disputes, and compute every metric the same way every month — with a trail from each figure back to the charges behind it.

The goal is not a prettier dashboard. It is that when finance and growth disagree, the disagreement takes two clicks to settle rather than three days.

02How we work

Four things we will not trade away

Read-only by default

We connect with read-only keys and we never hold or move funds. The only exception is failed payment recovery, which you switch on per gateway. Analytics should never be able to break the thing it measures.

Every number drills to a charge

A metric you cannot trace is a metric you cannot defend to a board or an auditor. Every figure we show opens onto the underlying transactions, and every definition is written down.

Priced on value, not seats

Charging per seat punishes you for letting people see the numbers. We price on the revenue you track, and you invite whoever needs access — finance, growth, the whole leadership team.

Your data stays yours

Scheduled exports, a read-only mirror and native warehouse sync are part of the product, not a retention lever. Leaving should be as easy as arriving.

03The company

Small team, long horizon

PaydMetrics is built and operated by FLOWSOFT TECH LIMITED, a company incorporated in Hong Kong. We are deliberately small, funded by the product rather than a growth target, and we intend to still be maintaining this in ten years.
